Ethereum ASIC Miner 2018 – Destroys GPU Mining? GPU Prices Back to Normal FINALLY

The cryptocurrency mining world has been shaken by the news of Bitmain creating their “F3 ETH / ETHash ASIC Miner” which apparently will be ~2x the performance of a GPU mining rig for a similar or lower cost.

Great video. Side note. Have you been searching for copies of N64 1080 snowboarding? That game was the cats ass back in the day. I may order a copy myself.

For all you traders, Ethereum is massively oversold. Literally, the RSI (Relative Strength Index) on the 1-day time interval is the lowest it has ever been. When ETH got this low in the past it pumped 30%-75% on average. Definitely a great swing trade!

The biggest news is coming out of norway i think it was, They got some engineer who worked on Hubble telescope that supposedly states can lower Bitcoin mining chip power consumption by 80%.

I think you better be prepared to mine something else besides Ethereum. ETC is looking very shakey.

You can get a 12 GPU or 19 GPU motherboard and just keep adding GPU's and just add your MH rate over time.

Tails is such a beautiful dog! Oh, and nice video, too, Vosk! 😀

Edit: Yeah, as long as the video card is run at conservative temperatures, you're not reducing it's useful life by mining with it. Temperature is what kills hardware. Keep it cool, and it will last longer than you will keep it in use, ie, until you replace it with something faster.

You guys got the wrong numbers, its 600-800 MH/s, and at 750W and thats just with fucking DDR3 ram, just a shitload of 1gb ddr3 chips running in parralel, what about DDR4 or GDDR5, youre ignorant if you dont know that these miners are being sold now to collect money for the next version using DDR4 or GDDR ram much faster than DDR3, Bitmain will always be 1 step infront 😉

Vosk, do you have a low BTC value at which you will start to shut down your mining rigs? At which point for you, is it no longer profitable. Ballpark figure. Thanks.

800$ for a preowned 1080ti is shit. The new ones are at 1000$. Miners and some other factors ruined the prices for gamers and I'm happy about profitability plummitting

It only uses 32 GB of DDR3 ram… That's garbage compared to present day GPUs… I built a GPU mining rig for $3600, pulling 770 Watts from the wall, and hashes at 229 MH/s. Far superior to what they are offering.
