The blockchain that follows the working principles of Bitcoin system which is outlined in the Bitcoin White paper, is the one that can and should be called Bitcoin. BTC with SegWit does not fulful those rules as SegWit broke the digital chain of signatures, rule, and is therefore an Altcoin.

The fact that Core & Blockstream and their followers (paid or unpaid, brainwashed and/or useful idiots) do not want to use this Bitcoin system for mass adoption also confirms that they do not back and support Bitcoin system therefore they do not deserve to continue to use the name "Bitcoin". Their blockchain should be called Bitcoin SegWit as this is what it works as.

Bitcoin Cash on the other hand does follow and embraces the Bitcoin system, and so does its eco system and supporters, which makes Bitcoin Cash both technically and morally, the actual Bitcoin.

Completely agree SD! Really digging your videos. One of the most objective and valuable video creators on YouTube by far!

Charlie Lee is a sellout, he is of no importance at all when it comes to Bitcoin Cash.
Also, you used the worst video as an example to try to explain the situation, I know already that you are against Bitcoin Cash, you use to call it and label it as Bcash, which makes you complicit to propaganda and name calling, as well as dis-informing others, because you do not stick to facts and objectivity.

I am completely tech non savvy. I totally respect you geniuses hashing it out about this debate. So my obtuse opinion is that there seems to be a whole bunch of room in the cryto space for both. I do understand that there are technical implications of course. Cant we all just get along!? Wuah!

Main flaw in btc supporters thinking is “block size cannot be increased after certain point” and “it’s not a long term solution”. Fortunately for peer to peer cash system aka bitcoin both are untrue. This is only a blockstream propaganda in order to have an excuse for centralized and not peer to peer and not trustless LN. First, it doesn’t necessarily have to be increased indefinitely and second it is a long term solution due to Moore’s law.

If you believe in blockstream propaganda without checking the information yourself you bought their propaganda. If anyone is anti bitcoin and non believer it’s blockstream and core. That’s why btc people believe bitcoin cannot be scaled on chain whereas bch people tell you it can. Judge for yourself who is carrying bitcoin vision to the world.

It really saddens me to see so many people trashing Roger Ver. He has probably done more to promote Bitcoin than anyone else, so instead we should thank him. I've been using and promoting Bitcoin for many years as well, and I can't count the number of people that I have tuned on to Bitcoin. To demo Bitcoin, I would always let a person create a wallet and then I would send him or her a few dollars worth of Bitcoin for free. Instant magic! But as the blocks started to get full, and the fees increased, this was longer possible. Very frustrating!! So I feel Roger's pain. I know that he really loves Bitcoin, and I'm sure he wept a little when he reluctantly switched to BCH. Technically, there are many differences between BTC and BCH, but from a consumer perspective, Bitcoin Cash actually works exactly as Bitcoin used to do, and Bitcoin itself has unfortunately become something else, i.e. 'digital gold' instead of a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.

If the developers had never let the blocks become full, I'm 100% certain that Bitcoin adoption would now be many more times higher now than it is today. The momentum we had was great, but then high fees and slow confirmation times killed it. It also paved the way for the altcoin surge, with Bitcoin dominance quickly falling from 95% down to the low 30s (I wouldn't be surprised Bitcoin lose the top spot later this year). And all of this was completely unnecessary! Very frustrating! Fast adoption is the most important thing we should worry about, since the more people and businesses use Bitcoin, the harder it will be for governments to shut it down. And have no doubt about it, that's what they would all like to do if they could get away with it.

Also, you can't have much faith in people's abilities if you think that most people won't be able to tell Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash apart. I don't see people having any issues distinguishing between the US dollar, the Canadian dollar and the Aussie dollar, for example.

In my personal opinion, all forks are scams (by scumbags). If you are a gentleman, like Charlie Lee, go to make your own coin!
